A find is only used when AI search works. It counts when a search uses AI matching and you open one of its results. Searches that return nothing useful, searches you abandon, keyword-only searches, and answers you read in the preview are all free. Opening several results from one search counts once.
AI search pauses until 00:00 UTC. Keyword search, indexing and everything else keep working exactly as before — Inbox Search never stops being useful.
Pro starts with 7 days free. A payment method is needed to start the trial. Cancel before it ends, from Settings → Manage subscription, and nothing is charged; otherwise the plan you chose begins when the trial ends.
Accounts that were active in the 30 days before the daily limit started keep unlimited AI search for free. If you were using Inbox Search then and see a limit, email hello@inboxsearch.app and we will put it right.
Keyword search and indexing run locally in your browser, so they cost nothing to provide and are not worth charging for. Semantic search is what makes Inbox Search different from Outlook’s built-in search, so it is the part a paid plan is built around.
